Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers?

The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever is a member of the gundog group. They were originally used for flushing waterfowl and retrieving game, bred since the 1890s; today they are used as gundogs and as companions. Beautiful looking dogs as you can see and although we only spent a few days with Nixie and Rumer, they were an absolute delight. Andrea and Terry used to breed these rich russet coated dogs and were so proud of their remaining two. An honour indeed to be given the responsibility of caring for them.

Little Mountain is on the way into Caloundra and we were fortunate to have masses of parkland behind the house to exercise the dogs. Plus a rather beautiful pool and a house which was on the market and a pleasure to call home for a few days. It looks lije Gerry has a potential future golf partner as Terry is really keen and Gerry never needs to be asked twice.
